The Republican Party has no health-care alternative in 2009. Yet the
party leaders, who worry endlessly of a government takeover of health
care, were ironically ?quick to urge a government takeover of Terri
Schiavo’s end-of-life decisions. Republicans, whose leadership is made
up of ?mainly nihilists and hypocrites, are against health-care reform
mainly because passage would help Mr. Obama’s political prospects.
After all, the titular head of the Republican party is surprisingly
?Rush Limbaugh, who ?has compared our president to Adolf Hitler!
