Chandler Ball, when your softball team is the home team, and you take the lead in the bottom of the seventh, that’s ball game. No need to cheat off second base anticipating a relay throw when the winning run already touches the plate.

Horne throws shutout for Eagles at Perry Pit

The first shutout, complete game and overall win for the Northside High 2010 softball season went to Bethany Horne. In seven full innings, she held the Perry High Panthers to five hits and struck out seven in a 2-0 victory for the Eagles Tuesday at Perry.
