Two people are being sought by Jefferson County in connection with a theft at Food Giant in Pinson that occurred Wednesday April 23, 2009.

    According to Lt. Randy Christian at approximately 5:30 pm yesterday evening the assistant manager of Food Giant was advised by another employee that a white female had placed a pack of steaks inside her purse.

   The Assistant Manager followed the white female and a white male out of the store and attempted to stop the female from getting into a 98-2002 white Ford Mustang.

   During the struggle, the white male driver backed up and the passenger door struck the employee knocking her down. The white female got into the mustang and the vehicle left in an unknown direction. No injuries occurred.

  A bolo was issued on the suspect’s vehicle and the suspects but they have not been located to date.
